The Perth & Kinross Local Development Plan was only adopted in February 2014, however it is being revised and the revised Main Issues Report which is used in this process is currently out for consultation.
There are a number of proposed revisions to the LDP and there are a number of other aspects which affect the Scone locality:-
- Proposals to radically change the Green Belt area to the north of Scone, towards the Tay.
- Proposals for a new cemetery at the site of former stables on Isla Road.
- Additional housing at Scone.
- Cross Tay Link Road to have two additional roundabouts, including one to the north of the proposed Scone North Housing Area and also one on the Stormontfield Road near to the racecourse entry.

Scone & Dist CC will continuing consulting with local residents and we will be submitting our own thoughts back to the Council however it is very useful for individuals to comment back as well..
The consultation closes on 16th March 2016, all responses should be submitted to PKC by that date.
