Construction work on the new Cross Tay Link Road (CTLR) requires a temporary diversion to the Core Path running along the east bank of the River Tay.

A popular route for walkers, the path will be diverted from September 5 until the project is complete in 2025. The east bank diversion is required to keep the public safe and away from what will be a live construction site, it’s a significant diversion and will take walkers approximately 0.5kms away from the river bank to then rejoin the path again.

The Core Path involved is SCON/140.

The CTLR is Phase 2 of the Perth Transport Futures Project to improve traffic flows and active travel opportunities in and around the city. For further information please visit www.perthtransportfutures
