At the last SDCC meeting we were informed by our Councillors that Perth & Kinross Council are evaluating the need for continuing 20mph limits across the region. The SDCC would like to obtain the views of the people of Scone & District on retention of the 20mph speed limits in Scone.
These views, representing our community, will then be passed to the Council to inform their decision making about the current 20mph limits on our Main Rd (A94) and on Stormont Rd.
We are also asking if you wish us to work towards having Abbey Road a 20mph area, because of its close proximity to the park and the school, and finally, if you would like us to try and lobby the Council to consider making the whole village a 20mph limit zone.
