Here are 2 documents for residents to formulate Representations
A public meeting will be held by Scone Community Council at the RDM Institute from 7pm to 9pm to canvas YOUR opinions of this plan. Come and find out how and why you should respond to LDP2 (Local Development Plan 2).
It’s important for as many people to make comment on the document to ensure the best possible chance of our Greenbelt being protected, to ensure that flood requirements remain in place & to ensure inclusion and clarity of CTLR details.
Air your views on Air Quality issues, infrastructure issues & anything else you feel relevant to the future developement of Scone and it’s surrounding area.
Dear Community Council
I refer to previous communication with regard to the community councils membership level and can confirm that as the community council’s elected membership (4) now falls below 50% of the total prescribed elected membership of 10, a by-election is required to be held. The by-election will be for 6 vacancies. Any current members who are co-opted will require to stand for election if they wish to remain on the community council after the date of election.
I have attached to this email a timetable for the by-election.

For those who support the Institute by subscribing to the Scone 200, Dorothy Guthrie will be in the RDM Institute from 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday 15th November to allow anyone to come along to pay and collect their tickets.
This was mentioned in the latest issue of Destiny however the date given was incorrect.
Scone & District CC are needing an additional local resident to join our committee. This member is only required to attend 10 meetings at the RDM Institute and be part of the committee process – it’s not difficult or onerous. Please contact us if you would like more information.
The No. 7 bus is back to being every 10 minutes, will go into the Scone Park and Ride and go up to the Broxden Park and Ride. This will hopefully improve the village street parking problem. No changes to the route around Scone.
The 57 will not go into the P&R.
The No. 3 will continue as before but, with increased monitoring of usage numbers.
Residents are advised to make best use of these buses to ensure they continue.
We are very sorry there have been no updates for a while due to some technical issues here. Minutes will be up to date shortly
